Process for Refined Sugar Production:
For producing refined sugar of EU grade with 25 ICUMSA color value Decolorisation process to be adopted as follows:
- Melt clarification with phosphotation followed by Ion Exchange De-colourization
- Melt clarification with phosphotation followed by power activated carbon treatment (PAC) and filtration
- Melt clarification with phosphotation followed by de-colorization with granulated activated carbon(GAC)
- Carbonation followed by filtration and Ion Exchange de-colourization
